1. Accessibility at Old Amsterdam

Old Amsterdam strives to ensure that everyone can use our website, regardless of any limitations or assistive technologies. We believe it is important that visitors have barrier-free access to our products, stories, and campaigns. Digital accessibility is an integral part of our brand and development strategy.

2. Current Status

The current website was redesigned in 2025. During development, basic principles of digital accessibility were taken into account. At this moment, the website has not yet been independently tested for compliance with the WCAG 2.1 guidelines. A WCAG-EM audit will be conducted by an external party in 2026. The results of this audit will form the basis for an improvement plan.

3. Improvement Process

Old Amsterdam has established a continuous improvement cycle to ensure accessibility:

Monthly development sessions: The development team dedicates regular time to optimizing code and improving accessibility.

External assessment: The WCAG-EM audit maps the current status and identifies areas for improvement.

Solutions and follow-up: Findings are translated into concrete adjustments.

Annual evaluation: Progress and results are evaluated and published annually.

4. Current Measures

The new website has been designed with attention to structure, readability, and user-friendliness. Specific measures and technical details will be added once the audit results are available.

5. Known Limitations

At this time, no specific accessibility limitations have been officially identified. After the audit, any limitations and improvement measures will be transparently included in this statement.
