1 el olijfolie

100 g cherry tomatoes

50 g Serrano ham

1 baguette (or bread of your choice)

100 g shallots

200 g carrots

200 grams of cucumber

100 ml white balsamic vinegar

50 g sugar

check_box_outline_blank

100 ml water

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon juniper berries

1 teaspoon mustard seeds

3 bay leaves

3 pieces of star anise

2 sprigs of dill

How to make it:

    1. Peel the shallots and carrots, chop into pieces, halve the cucumber, remove the seeds, and slice into 1 cm pieces.
    2. Boil vinegar with sugar, water, salt, and spices, then simmer carrots and onions for 2 to 3 minutes.
    3. Rinse a jar with hot water, add cucumber and dill, fill with the vegetable-vinegar mixture, and leave to cool overnight.
    4. Cut the Old Amsterdam Original into cubes.
    5. Wash grapes, figs, and tomatoes, and cut the figs into quarters.
    6. Place pickles and olives in small bowls, if desired.
    7. Place all ingredients on a large platter or dish and serve with Old Amsterdam Truffle Cheese Spread.
    8. Spread on the bread, cut into slices, and serve.

Cooking tip!

Add some roasted nuts (such as almonds or walnuts) to the snack platter: their crunchiness and earthy flavor provide extra contrast to the creamy truffle cheese spreads and sweet figs.
