Spicy Flammkuchen with Old Amsterdam

  • 8 slices of Old Amsterdam
  • 4 ready-made small flammkuchen of 50 g (available at Marqt)*
  • 4 tbsp crème fraîche
  • 200 gr ‘nduja (available at an Italian caterer or delicatessen)
  • handful of fresh herbs (chervil, dill, tarragon)
  • two handfuls of arugula


  • Preheat the oven to 220°C.
  • Spread the flammkuchen with a thin layer of crème fraîche and spread it well.
  • Use two spoons to scoop balls of the ‘nduja and top the flammkuchen with them. Tear the slices of Old Amsterdam into pieces and divide them over the flammkuchen.
  • Place the flammkuchen on two oven racks. Bake them for about 5-6 minutes.
  • When out of the oven, sprinkle with plenty of fresh herbs and arugula.
