Old Amsterdam Mature winner ‘Chosen Product of the Year 2021’
Old Amsterdam Matured is proud to receive the ‘Chosen Product of the Year 2021’ award in the cheese category. These ‘products of the year’ are chosen annually by more than 10,000 consumers. Old Amsterdam Matured is based on the award-winning, traditional recipe of Old Amsterdam Original, but has a milder taste than consumers are used to from Old Amsterdam. The layered taste distinguishes Old Amsterdam Matured from other matured cheeses, which traditionally have a somewhat flatter flavor profile.
The Chosen Product of the Year election is based on a representative and independent survey conducted by a consumer panel of 10,000 consumers who rate it on 3 key criteria: attractiveness, innovation perception, purchase intention. In addition, the product is tasted in a real consumption situation by more than 120 families and they also assess the product on taste. The latest newcomer of Westland Kaas, Old Amsterdam Matured, is now allowed to carry the “Chosen Product of the Year 2021” logo. This award is a token of consumer appreciation and shows that thousands of consumers find Old Amsterdam Matured attractive and innovative based on their own user experience.
