Tuna Melt with harissa and grated Old Amsterdam

Ingredients

  • 2 sourdough sandwiches
  • 1 tbsp Harissa (Tunisian/Moroccoan spicy pepper paste, available in the supermarket)
  • 4 cherry tomatoes
  • 1/2 red onion
  • 75 g tuna in oil (can)
  • 2 tsp capers
  • approx. 75 g Old Amsterdam Original Grated
  • 1 spring onion

Preparation

  • Turn on the oven grill to the medium-high setting.
  • Cut the tomatoes into quarters, the onion into thin half rings and drain the capers and tuna.
  • Spread the sandwiches with harissa and evenly distribute the tuna, onion, capers and tomatoes on top.
  • Divide the grated Old Amsterdam cheese over it. Melt the sandwiches on a baking tray in the oven on the grill setting for a few minutes. Garnish the Tuna Melt with thinly sliced spring onion
