Old Amsterdam Filo pastry sticks with za’atar

Ingredients
- 4 sheets of filo pastry
- 2 tbsp melted butter or olive oil
- 4 tbsp Old Amsterdam Original 48+ or Mature Grater
- 1 tbsp za’atar herbs
Additional needed:
- Baking paper
- Brush
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 200°C.
- Place one sheet of filo pastry on the cutting board and cut each sheet of filo pastry into quarters.
- Using a brush, brush the filo pastry with melted butter. Spread some grated Old Amsterdam cheese on each sheet of filo pastry and roll up the sheet a little loosely. Twist the ends slightly against each other.
- Brush the filo pastry sticks again with some melted butter and sprinkle with some cheese and za’atar herbs.
- Bake the filo pastry sticks on a baking tray lined with baking paper for about 5 minutes until golden brown. After cooling they are wonderfully crispy.
