Crispy sandwiches with Old Amsterdam Goat Cheese

  • Slices of Old Amsterdam Goat Cheese
  • 4 figs
  • 4 sprigs of thyme
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 half baguette
  • pepper


  • Preheat the oven to 180 ºC.
  • Cut the baguette into coarse slices. Top the sandwiches with a slice of Old Amsterdam Goat Cheese.
  • Remove the stems from the figs and cut the figs into wedges. Place a wedge on each bun.
  • Drizzle the rolls with some honey.
  • Strip the thyme leaves from the stem. Sprinkle the thyme leaves together with the pepper over the rolls.
  • Bake for 10 minutes in the preheated oven until the cheese starts to melt and the sandwich becomes nice and crispy.
