Sandwich with omelette and Old Amsterdam Grater

  • 2 slices of bread
  • 2 eggs
  • 100 ml cream
  • 25 g Old Amsterdam Grater
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tomato
  • 2 sprigs of chives
  • salt and pepper


  • Break the eggs into a bowl and beat them together with the cream and the Old Amsterdam Grater. Season everything with salt and pepper.
  • Melt a knob of butter in a frying pan and pour the egg mixture into the pan. Fry the omelette over low heat, meanwhile spread the slices of bread lightly with butter.
  • Top the sandwich with the omelette and garnish it with tomato slices and finely chopped chives.
