Tasty grill with spinach, mushrooms and sweet potato puree

  • 1 package Old Amsterdam Tasty Grill (2 pieces)
  • 500g sweet potatoes
  • 100ml milk
  • 200g mixed mushrooms
  • 2 sprigs of cherry tomatoes
  • 400g fresh spinach
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil + olive oil for frying
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 2 sprigs of thyme
  • extra needed: grill pan, masher


  • Peel the potatoes, cut them into equal pieces and cook them with some salt and the thyme sprigs for about 20 minutes until done. Fish out the thyme sprigs, drain and mash them into a coarse puree. Heat the milk and stir into the puree with the olive oil. Season with salt and pepper and close the pan.
  • Fry the mushrooms in a frying pan in some oil and season with salt and pepper. Bake the Old Amsterdam Tasty Grill according to the instructions on the packaging. Add the tomatoes to the pan for a few minutes.
  • Crush the garlic and fry it in oil in a frying pan. Add the spinach and stir-fry until the spinach shrinks. Heat the potato puree. Serve all ingredients per plate.
