How to request a return?

  1. Email: Before returning any product, please contact us first via webshop@oldamsterdamcheesestore.com. Include your order number, the reason for return, and a photo if the product arrived damaged.
  2. Solution: We’ll first look for a possible solution. Based on your email, we’ll determine whether the product needs to be returned or if we can resolve the issue remotely.
  3. Shipping: If a return is necessary, you’ll receive further instructions from us. Please note: return shipping costs are at your own expense. Make sure the product is securely packaged to prevent damage during transport.
  4. Inspection and Refund: Once we’ve received your returned product, we’ll inspect it. If everything is in order, we’ll process your refund as soon as possible. You’ll receive a confirmation once the refund has been completed.

Special conditions for food products

Since we sell food items, additional return conditions apply:

  • Unopened products only: We only accept returns of unopened and undamaged food products. Packaging must be intact and in resaleable condition.
  • Perishable products: Perishable goods cannot be returned unless they are delivered damaged or defective. In that case, a photo is required.
  • Return period: The return period starts from the moment of delivery to the customer (according to Track & Trace information) and lasts 14 days.
